Why shop here
What this shop is, plainly
Bedding attracts big promises. Here is what we can actually stand behind.
The layer that can be washed
A mattress cannot go in a machine. A protector takes the perspiration, the spill and the accident instead, and goes in with the sheets.
Manufacturer figures, marked as theirs
Where a maker states a material, a depth or a certification, it is on the product page and identified as theirs. We publish no figure we cannot trace.
Four things, done properly
Two protectors, a bed pad and a moving bag. A narrow range means we know what each one fits and what it does not.
People who pack the orders
Email reaches the team that picks and packs, seven days a week. No ticket queue, and no script.
Delivery you can check
Free across Australia over $75, Express Delivery at $25 below it or as a paid upgrade. Dispatched within 2 working days, arriving within 7 working days of dispatch. Tracking emailed when it ships.
Returns, stated in full
Thirty days to change your mind under our own policy, and the Australian Consumer Law if anything is faulty. The returns page says exactly what each costs.
Questions
The things people ask first
Yes. Both protectors have a waterproof layer under the fabric: a thin TPU membrane on the waterproof protector and a waterproof membrane on the bamboo protector. A spill sits on the surface so you can strip the bed.
Our mattress protectors are machine washable. Wash in warm water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean. Following these instructions looks after the waterproof membrane.
The waterproof protector comes in Single, Double, Queen and King and fits mattresses up to 40cm deep. The bamboo protector comes in Single, Double, Queen, King and California King and fits up to about 45cm deep. Measure your mattress before you order.
Orders are dispatched within 2 working days and arrive within 7 working days of dispatch. Delivery is free across Australia on orders over $75; below that it is Express Delivery at $25, which you can also choose on any order. A tracking number is emailed when your order ships.
We make no cooling claim. You sleep on a fabric top, cotton terry or bamboo viscose, with the waterproof membrane underneath, not on a vinyl or plastic sheet.
The waterproof protector has an 80% cotton terry top over a thin TPU (polyurethane) membrane. The bamboo protector has a bamboo viscose top over a waterproof membrane.
We do not give a lifespan. Wash it as the care label says, and replace it when the membrane is torn or the elastic has gone.
We make no allergy, dust mite or asthma claim. A protector is a washable cover that keeps spills and stains off the mattress.
We make no silence claim. The waterproof layer is a thin film under a fabric top, not a plastic sheet.
We make no cooling or breathability claim. The waterproof layer is a thin membrane under a fabric top, not a vinyl or plastic cover.
Spills, sweat, urine, pet accidents, menstrual leaks, coffee, wine and body oils. The liquid sits on the protector instead of soaking into the mattress, and the protector goes in the wash. We make no dust mite, bacteria or allergen claim.
It is waterproof: a membrane under the fabric keeps liquid on the surface. We do not claim it can never leak. A torn or punctured membrane will let liquid through, so check it when you wash it.
Yes. It fits memory foam, latex, hybrid and spring mattresses, as long as the mattress is within the depth the protector fits.
Every 1-2 months for regular maintenance, or immediately after any spills or accidents.
Yes, across Australia, including regional and remote addresses. Orders are dispatched within 2 working days and arrive within 7 working days of dispatch.
No separate warranty is sold. The Australian Consumer Law applies in full, and faulty items are put right. If the waterproofing fails or the product is faulty, email us with your order number and a photo.
Yes. The protector fits the mattress, not the base, so it moves with the mattress. Check the mattress depth before you order.
Yes, as a household product. A waterproof protector keeps incontinence off the mattress, and our washable incontinence bed pads go over the sheet so a night change is a pad, not the bed. Neither is a medical device.
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on an unused item in its original packaging, and you pay the return postage. Check your mattress depth before ordering so the size is right first time.
Before you buy
Which protector do you actually need?
There are two protectors here and they do the same job with a different surface. Everything else on this page is detail around that one choice.
Terry or bamboo
The waterproof protector has an 80% cotton terry top: a towelling weave that feels substantial. The bamboo protector uses bamboo viscose, which feels smoother. Both are waterproof and both go in the washing machine. The choice is simply the surface you would rather sleep on.
Measure the mattress, not the bed
Bed frames are named loosely and mattresses are not. Every size on this site carries its centimetres, so take a tape to the mattress: width, length and, most importantly, depth. Depth is what decides whether a fitted skirt stays on, and it is the commonest reason a protector ends up in a heap at the foot of the bed.
What these are not
They are household textiles. A protector keeps liquid off a mattress; a bed pad catches what happens at night and is easier to change than a bed. Neither is a medical device and neither treats or prevents anything, so we make no health claim for either. The mattress bag is water repellent rather than sealed, which matters if you were planning to leave it outdoors.
